Quick answer: Look at your marksheet and see who issued it. If it says Aligarh Muslim University, the correction runs through the university's Controller of Examinations and its Degree Section, using your enrolment and faculty numbers, and neither UPMSP nor a district education office is involved. - The Degree Section within it prepares degrees, transcripts and migration certificates and maintains the enrolment registers.
