Nobody Asks Why
- The gazette process does not ask for a reason, and no form has a field for one.
- The affidavit states what the change is, not why you are making it.
- The newspaper notice is an announcement, not an explanation.
- The department publishes what you submit, and its concern is that the file is complete.
- So do not build a case you were never asked to make, and do not let anybody tell you it is complicated.
